Brief story of a summer barbecue

Since I was a kid, cooking on the fire is more than a way of preparing the food. It’s more properly a ritual I usually enjoy from the first sparkles till the well deserved dinner. No matters if it is about meat or fish, vegetables or simple bread. Starting a fire in the barbecue is like a magic path towards ancient smells and vivid colors, the sound of foods trasforming on the coal fire…and, in the background, the expectations of friends waiting for the dinner. This sequence of pictures is about a summer evening spent to roast some fish in the patio of my sea house. I hope you could like the shots…and if you aren’t a vegan, I cannot assure you won’t be a little hungry…
